Tourism supporting local communities

December 16, 2013

The VisitEarth programme is based on creating all the tools and applications required to enable 1,000's of small medium enterprises to get their product to market. It does so through a collaborative system developed to provide each supplier with more direct bookings for 100% retained margin and which breaks the cycle of dependency 3rd parties have in distribution, branding and marketing.

Suppliers of all tourism and hospitality product pay a low annual subscription regardless of volume received. Half of the revenue generated through the subscriptions is placed in the VisitEarth CORE (Conservation Of Resources through Enterpriseprogramme that supports local initiatives in each location around the operation.

These initiatives support local communities, such as the Masai, when on safari in the stunning region of the Mara and promotes local employment and training within lodges, camps and local activities. In addition to clean water, education and mosquito nets.

All local initiatives are directed toward long term sustainable programmes.
